I have attached a video self explanatory.
Drive spins and heads click across then platters not crashed as i can see.
The heads start from a parked position to the outside of the platter.
The Drive is Lacie NAS by Neil Poulton.
To reset the NAS the drive power switch when switch on is switched off then on very quickly within 3 secs. Its a small switch so i was using a power extension sockets mains switch to its 12v supply.
The drive then started clicking.
What do you recommend to get it booting ?
I do want to copy data ASAP after opening to a SSD.
Thanks and regards
It is the heads-stack problem. Suggest you find a data recovery company help you.
