WD 2060-771824-003 PCB’s BIOS

Q: Many days ago my hdd’s SATA power connector was broke off. I tried to fix it. However, I freid the PCB. I ordered another WD10EZEX so i can swap the PCB to get to my files. But the new hdd has a different REV A #. The old one is 2060-771824-003 and new 2060-771829-003. So my question is are they compatible since they’re both WD10EZEX ? Or should i not risk it and wait for a new chip?

A: Your PCB’s donor PCB should be 2060-771824-003. When you get this PCB, you need to move your original PCB’s BIOS to the replacement PCB.
