Q: I have broken Hitachi 160GB 3.5" HDD, HDS722516LSA80. When I connect this HDD on dock, I can’t hear motor running so it doesn’t show up on Windows.
I guess PCB has problem so I need to buy a PCB.
I attached my HDD’s PCB information. Would you let me know to recover it?
A: If your HDD can’t spin, you can swap PCB to try. Please refer: http://www.hddzone.com/hitachi-pcb-14r9441-p-240.html
When you get this PCB, you need to move your original PCB’s BIOS to the replacement PCB. The 8pins (4 pins on each sides) with 25P05VP、 25P10VP、25F512、25F1024、25F1024AN、SST25VF512、 SST25VF010, etc. are the BIOS.
